About What We Do:
We believe the Jesus Gospel Ministry is called to reach out the people we see in need in our area. The Jesus Gospel Ministry sees Jesus' mission was to care for the spiritually and physically needy and all efforts to put hope back into their lives. Also, just as we see spread through the scriptures- caring for the widow, the orphan and the alien, so the JGM is set out to bring the Gospel through service and words of love to the NEEDY in the community around us.

Theological Beliefs

    Ministry Principles:
  1. We acknowledge the Holy Trinity according to the word of God in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. . ."
  2. We believe in water baptism by immersion, according to the word of God in Matthew 28:19 (above) and Romans 6:3-4 ". . .that we too may live a new life."
  3. We should move as per Jesus' footsteps, caring for the needy as in James 1:27 ". . .look after orphans and widows in their distress."
Deut. 15:7-8 "If there is a poor man among you. . .do not be tight-fisted, rather be open-handed."
  4. Love should prevail amongst all, according to the word of God:
1 John 4:8 "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
1 Cor. 13 "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love."
  5. Every leader should be a servant and not a master.
Matthew 20:26-28 "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant."
  6. We believe in offering the Holy communion as a remembrance of the Lord's supper.
1 Cor. 11:26 "For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."
  7. Every servant/leader strives to be faithful to God, to others and to oneself according to the word of God in Luke 16:10. "Whoever can be trusted with little can also be trusted with much..."
  8. Every servant of the Lord with the Jesus Gospel Ministry, should have one spirit, one mind and one faith according to Philippians 1:27 ". . .stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the Gospel. . ."
  9. Each servant of God should seek/discover the secret in prayer according to the word of God in Luke 18:1 "Always pray and never give up."
  10. Leadership must be respected by all ministry members as per the word of God in Romans 13:1 "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities. . .God established them."
  11. We should always preach according to the word of God and believe what we preach, Luke 1:45. "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!"
  12. The ministry doesn't employ workers, instead it supports them, according to 1 Corinthians 9: 13-14. ". . .the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel."

JGM Adult Choir

  1. Marriages should be honoured by every believer of JGM as per the word of God. Matthew 19:4-6 "the two will become one flesh. . .what God has joined together, let man not separate."
  2. Holiness must be aimed by everyone according to the word of God in 2 Corinthians 7:1. "Purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."
  3. In order to achieve the goal of the ministry, we must agree with the visioneers for the purpose of oneness #(8) The JGM will then be used use in the body of Christ committed to one focused service. 1 Cor. 13:12
  4. Every issue arising contrary to the word of God and the ministry's requirement, will not be solved on the pulpit, but instead by confronting with a gentle spirit. Galatians 6:1 ". . .caught in sin. . .restore him gently."
  5. None has the rightful ownership of any property pertaining the ministry.
  6. Every branch pastor with the ministry should be able to bring progressive reports monthly, tithes inclusive.
  7. Ministry programs in churches should be monitored by every pastor in charge assisted by the committee and the congregation.
